Managing Multiple Accounts
Pera Wallet lets you manage multiple Algorand accounts from a single app. This is useful for separating hot-wallet funds from longer-term holdings, or managing accounts for different purposes.
- Tap the account selector at the top of the home screen
- Choose "Add New Account" to create or import another address
- You can label each account for easy identification (e.g., "DeFi," "NFTs," "Savings")
Connecting to dApps with WalletConnect
Pera Wallet supports WalletConnect v2, the standard protocol for securely linking your wallet to decentralized applications without ever sharing your private key.
- Visit a supported dApp (e.g., Tinyman, Folks Finance, AlgoFi)
- Click "Connect Wallet" on the dApp and choose Pera Wallet
- A QR code or deep link will appear — scan it with Pera Wallet or tap it on mobile
- Review the requested permissions and approve the connection

Managing Algorand Standard Assets (ASAs)
ASAs are tokens and NFTs native to the Algorand blockchain. Before receiving an ASA, your wallet must opt in to that asset — this costs a small ALGO reserve (0.1 ALGO per asset) to prevent spam.
- Go to your asset list and tap "+" to search and opt in to a new ASA
- To remove an asset, opt out — this returns your 0.1 ALGO reserve
- You cannot receive an ASA without opting in first
Exploring NFTs in the Pera NFT Browser
Pera Wallet includes a built-in NFT browser that displays your Algorand-based NFT collection with full metadata and imagery. You can:
- View all NFTs associated with your accounts
- Send NFTs directly to another Algorand address
- Browse NFT collections on integrated marketplaces like Rand Gallery and Shufl
